Our Journey

Our journey began with the humble sock swiftly followed by searching for Tights and Hold Ups.

Fed up with, in the main, just two choices a clunky black sock versus the frumpy pop sock… JFM…. knew there must be something better then this and there is!

We travelled to Bangladesh, a country with a history in producing ready-made garments and elaborate embroidered goods, to search for designs that could bring an abundance of elegance, sophistication and cheeky charm to the sock world.

It’s so hard to find pretty socks you can wear with a shoe boot or a trendy flat that doesn’t remove every ounce of style you planned when you carefully selected your shoes! We’re working on bringing the style without removing the functionality and we’re so very nearly there so if you want to be the first to find out about it, sign up to our mailing list for updates and special offers. Our second tranche of searches led us manufacturers in both the UK and in Poland. We searched high and low to source luxurious and durable Tights and Holds Ups; and we found them! Oh yes! Just for me…. has secured exclusivity of these products in the UK.

We carefully selected five styles to launch our new company. We hope you like them as much as the ladies in our sample group…. they tried to steal our samples of the Isabella tights and Sophia hold ups. JFM products truly have that loving feeling.

Did you know?…. It’s so easy to get it wrong. The most important element of the hold up is the quality of the silicon and we have found it. “Stretchline” based in England, is the worlds largest elastic manufacturer, who have patented silicon that can be applied to the fabric. Their “Stay 4 Sure” silicon adapts to the natural movement of the body giving greater design and flexibility. It’s breathable and does not apply massive pressure on the body which can obstruct your circulation. Just for me…. highly rates “Stay 4 Sure”.
